63 young musicians in the correspondence stage of the Contest "Sozvezdie"
On April 30, 2019 the Organizing Committee finished accepting applications from the participants of the first all-Russian Contest of young musicians "Sozvezdie". 63 talented performers from 23 regions of Russia presented video recordings of their programmes and portfolio of achievements to the Jury.
"Sozvezdie" contestants compete in three classes: piano, the violin instruments and the woodwind and percussion instruments. The competition programme of young performers 13 instruments: piano, cello, violin, harp, French horn, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, bassoon, flute, percussion instruments were announced.

The largest number of applications is in the "woodwind and percussion instruments" family, where the contest was almost seven people for a place in the final. The youngest participants of the correspondence stage is the violinists Nikitina Seraphima and Proshutinsky Gleb, as well as the trombonist Plekhanov Gleb are 12 years old.

In total, a hundred of the best graduates of "Sirius" in the class of "Music and performing arts" at the age of 11−18 years were invited to participate in the first Contest "Sozvezdie". They received the highest number of points on the results of educational programmes from April 2018 to March 2019. This year, the Center trained up to 500 young musicians from 60 regions of the country and the competition for specialized programmes of "Sirius" among the musicians was about three people for one place.

Geography spread of the participants of the correspondence stage of the I all-Russian Contest of young musicians "Sozvezdie" is wide: Belgorod; Vladivostok; Yekaterinburg; Krasnodar region; Krasnoyarsk; Leningrad region; Lipetsk; Moscow; Moscow region; Novgorod region; Novosibirsk; Omsk; Penza region; Republic of Bashkortostan; Republic of Karelia; Republic of Sakha (Yakutia); Republic of Udmurtia; Rostov-on-don; Ryazan; St. Petersburg; Saratov region; Tula region; Tyumen. Cities-leaders in the number of participants of the correspondence stage: Moscow — 22 participants; St. Petersburg — 13 participants; Yekaterinburg — 4 participants; Belgorod — 2 participants.
