Rossiyskaya Gazeta: the Young Musicians Contest "Sozvezdie" has been included into the list to receive the Presidential grants
The list of olympiads, intellectual and creative competitions, the winners of which can apply for the Presidential grants, will be significantly enlarged. The relevant document was published by the Ministry of Education.
In particular, 55 new events will be added to the list. Among them, the "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" says:
— English Olympiad for school students "the Skills of the XXI century" held by Moscow State Pedagogical University;
— School Olympiad "Step into the future" on the "Engineering" profile which Bauman's MSTU holds;
— All-Russian Contest of young musicians "Sozvezdie" , which is held by the Educational Foundation "Talent and success";
— and others.
In total, the updated list includes 279 events. According to their results, a list of winners and talented guys who can apply for the Presidential grants will be compiled.
1200 students annually become the recipients of the grant of the President of Russia in the amount of 20 thousand rubles per month throughout the studying at the University or College, according to the website of the Ministry of Education.
